Why is doppio special?
The doppio Shot Timer works completely automatically and requires no modification of the espresso machine. It registers the machine's pump start via a vibration sensor and stops exactly when the shot ends. Full concentration on the espresso – without manually pressing any buttons.

Installing the doppio is incredibly simple. The timer is attached to your machine with removable nano-tape. No screwing, no soldering, no loss of warranty.
It works with almost all espresso machines - whether it's a vibration pump or a rotary pump. If for any reason the timer doesn't work with your machine, you can adjust the sensitivity yourself - or simply send the timer back if you don't feel like it.
No opening the machine. No app. Just physics.
The doppio does not rely on communication with specific machines, but is designed to work as a universal shot timer with all kinds of espresso machines. It detects the start and end of the shot exclusively through the vibrations that occur when the pump starts – passively, precisely, and completely wirelessly.
A tiny sensor in our doppio is all it takes. No interference with the electronics, no warranty issues, no configuration. Once attached and powered via USB-C, the timer starts by itself every time you start a shot.

40 × 40 mm tall and wide, 37 mm deep – the doppio is almost a perfect cube. The front panel is available either with a visible perforated grid (here you can choose between chrome and bare LEDs) or as a version with 0.7 mm thin real wood. Red LEDs are installed as standard, but for chrome you can also choose white LEDs.
Power consumption is tiny – around 0.2 watts on average. And when the timer switches to automatic sleep mode, even less. It is powered via USB-C: your old phone charger, a power bank or theoretically even your phone are sufficient. It is attached with removable nano-tape, which you can move as often as you like – two spare strips are included. Packaging: plastic-free. The only plastic is in the housing itself – just 18 g of PETG.
